Friday Nite @ Zouk

My company was one of the sponsors for Menshealth Mag event @ Zouk. Being in Finance dept, the event has got nothing to do with my work, but I kaypoh-ed and went anyway. Lemme tell you this, Zouk felt a bit like a gay club coz the ratio of men to chicks was like 5 to 1. Didnt help much either that there were various competitions that got men parading on Stage and that stirred the crowd (ie.men) into a frenzy.

That nite was probrably the most ridiculous clubbing experience that I've ever encounter. The organizers managed to slot in a magic show.

-_-"

A FREAKING MAGIC SHOW!!!

Are you out of your fucking mind? Wahliao, you think this is children's day issit? Even an intoxicated clubber wouldnt give a fuck on what your magician do with his rope. Somore go do those boring tricks with the hankie, rope, spoon. ZZzzzZZZzzz. Hello friend, we've *only* seen those a thousand times before? Go summon an elephant or something. Seriously from where I was standing (and that was pretty close to the stage), I cant even tell if he's really bending the spoon or playing with his zipper.

I got one advice for organizers. Next time get a stipper. That goes pretty well with the event. Promoting men's health right? A stripper would definitely get a men's heart pumping and thus would be a stressless cardio workout.

A stipper, or maybe two...hell yea...

MIA

Hi.

I've been missing awhile. Not that it matters anyway, cause this IS a low traffic blog, but it kinda contradicts with the reason I started this whole blog-thingy. However, I couldn’t help it. I guess in my laziness pursuit of my career, I'm left with little or no time to rant and bitch on this site.

Being away for so long got me thinking, what if some famous blogger didn’t post an entry for 2 whole months? Would any of his/her readers know what happen to their favourite blogger? I mean they'll be like clicking to their favourite blogsite every morning only to be disappointly greeted by the same post which was laying there for since aeons ago. The only thing they can do is post the same comments that everyone does "Why no updates?" or something along that line. Some will just totally stop following the site all together and delete the bookmarked url in favor for another blogsite that REGULARLY updates.

But you see, little that they know, something might have happened to the writer.
1.) He/she could have gotten bored of blogging and didn’t bother to write a goodbye post to the avid readers.
2.) In my case too busy with work. (just an example, not trying to say I got a lot of readers la)
3.) Developed an ammnesia and forgotten he/she has got a blog.
4.) ...or even died.

Hey, I'm not trying to jinx anybody here, but let's face it, no one lives forever. Accidents do happen, people fall ill and die of some sickness regardless of age. Think of it, when or how would you find out if the a blogger passed away? Perhaps more importantly, WOULD you eventually find out that he/she is no longer with the living? The thing is, I'm trying to imagine a senerio whereby a blogger pass away, what would happen to the blogsite and more importantly...what of his/her readers? Perhaps one day, the writer's close friend/relative/ mate might access to his blog and post a passing message. I can imagine my own shock and surprise if 1 day on the blog that I regularly visit, I'm greeted by the title of blog-post "I'm Brett's wife. I'm sorry but Brett has pass away..."

I hope Brett updates soon...

p/s. Colours...amazing...I just discovered them.
